Forrest “Shep” Shepherd Burke is an apprentice turned tattoo artist learning under mentor Kara Galloway-Hutchens since March 2024. Being brought up in a family that would regularly host “tattoo parties” in the early 2000’s, he became infatuated with the idea of permanently drawing on people. Growing up, he always had a strong passion for art and animation. This transitioned into a love for character designing, concept art and storyboarding. Forrest decided to pursue tattooing as a career in his early 20’s. At now 28 years old, he specialises in stylised animal tattoos as well as loves to design mythical creatures and monster tattoos. He loves to create, and will continue doing so until his hands fall off. He is easy to work with and talk to, with his number one priority being client comfortability. Forrest is ecstatic to be a new artist at Artistic Skin Design and looks forward to creating for every client he works with! Forrest is located at the Artistic Skin Design in Noblesville.
